OK, just got back from our 3D/4D ultrasound and it was awesome!!! We spent about an hour and a half in total, mostly because for the first hour his feet were jammed up in his face! I mean, LO was folded and his legs were criss-crossed and covering a lot of his sweet little face, and his elbow was covering part of it, too.
DH and I started talking to him and he finally moved, lowering his legs and his arms... and he started playing with his 'manhood'! Which prompted him to give us his first smile of the ultrasound!! Definitely takes after his daddy!
But he is soooooo cute, the pics turned out GREAT, really clear because of the water I've been forcing myself to drink. LO kept yawning, we caught him grimace a few times, he stuck his big toe straight into his eye at one point (he was a total contortionist), and we could see his sweet little chest moving up and down as he practiced his breathing. I am so in love with my little guy.
Oh, and the sonographer told us that he has hair! I knew we would have a hairy baby!
Ahhh, it was SO WORTH the money we spent!
