Question

Are they worth it?

Hi Girls,

Me and OH are trying to decide whether or not to go to our Antenatal class tonight.

Are they worth it? I've heard loads of different views and just wondered what you girls think? I know basically everything anyway so would we just be sitting there listening to pointless babble?

It's at 7.00 so hurry!! lol

Why don't you go to this one and take it from there. Sometimes the babble goes in better when someone is saying it rather than reading it.

May be good to meet new mums who's babies are due same time as you x x

Mine start next week so I can't say if they give good information but I think it should be a good way to meet other mums and make some friends if nothing else.

I think I know pretty much all there is to know as well but I want to be as prepared as possible, and I do have questions, so me and my OH are going for peace of mind if nothing else.

My hubby wasn't too keen on going either (major understatement!), but we've been to two now and he's enjoyed them both (the first one more than the second one though as the men were more involved in the first one).

I think the midwives can tend to go on a little bit but there is a lot to fit in to just an hour and a half. We have found them to be useful so far.

HTH. x

We haven't gone to any... don't know if we will either... I know what labour and all the drugs are about, and im pretty sure my OH would rather be left in the dark about that kind of stuff until we have ours.
