hey honey, my fundal height is two weeks bigger. I think the measurement is a fairly innacurate science so it may not mean babs it going to be a giant! If mw is not worried then I'm sure its all fine.... did you question her about it?

I never understand it either. Not sure if you read my thread but im opposite baby measuring smaller.Tell you what I had a student measure me and she got me 3 weeks bigger I want her again lol! It could be down to fluid so long as baby is active ,I suppose there is no concern. And i hope you dont give birth to a 15lb er!

This always confuses me too as i'm always measuring bigger and they never seem concerned, my MW said it could be lots of fluid and they're also measuring a bit of u aswell as baby!
If they're not worried things should be ok. xx

well, I guess you have to trust her, it must be extremely hard to work out the size of a baby externally (especially as some women do have more fluid than others). Sure you'll be fine hun!

My fundal height has always been ahead. At my last appt (32 weeks) I was measuring up at 38!! But I know that baby is above average, and have got another growth scan ext week. Try not to worry though hun, as each person will measure you slightly differently, and a midwife told me that they always allow for a margin of a couple of weeks either side as well. As long as you're being monitored all should be fine. Have you had a growth scan?
