Just had a 'Oh my God, I've never done any of this before, argh' excited but slightly nervous revelation!!! How are you all feeling on the imminent arrival of a new soul that's dependent upon you? I'm SOOO excited but slightly scared too..... It's all becoming soooooo real.......

im a bit scared of how i will cope in the first few weeks.....with my body getting back to normal and "downstairs" and also that i manage with the sleepless nights and the baby is well fed and happy....

Im just making a mental note now that if i need help or feel down...i WILL ask for help and not try to juggle everything on my own....

Yeah, i know what you mean.... I'm just thinking how the hell will I know what to do with this little thing when it's out?! I know it's instinctive and you learn as you go, but it just kind of shocked me this morning...

Im the same as both of you. Im also wondering how my relationship will change with hubby. I dont know whether it will have a positive effect or negative. I will be happier when he is out and I can get my body back (I have sworn to never mistreat it again and to go to the gym and not eat rubbish I truly am amazed by my body now!!).

I am really determined to breastfeed so I hope that I manage to do it.

its hitting home for me too..... oh my god, I will actually have a baby totally relying on my skills (which are few and far between). How will I know what to do?? I'm excited to tho, cannot imagine just how amazing it will be to have a little boy in the house. Am desperate to get body in shape too...weightwatchers as soon as I can!!

I'm so excited to meet our LO but totally scared also - what if the instincts don't kick in?! and I'm a horror if I have any sleep deprevation, lol, so OH may not speak to me for a few months - I'm worried we'll loose the closeness we have at the moment cos we're too focused on other things. He assures me we won't but we've never been parents before - it's all so unknown!!

I share all your fears ladies..... It will be magical but it's so unknown!!!! I just wonder what it will be like when he's here. I like to think I know myself (cheesy) well enough to guess but I just don't know..... Good luck to you all, I know we'll be fine.....

I just feel such a mixture of emotions at the moment....
happy, excited, nervous, anxious, scared, doubtful, tired, buzzed, etc but the good def outweigh the bad. Just can't wait to actually meet my bubs now!

To be honest, I am bricking it. My baby was planned and everything that hubby and I wanted, but boy am I scared. Of what I don't know, cos if I thought I couldn't do it then I wouldn't have started trying.

Maybe it's being scared of the unknown, I don't know. I have a mixture of emotions right now, and does my husband know it!! x x
