Fine until I read this!

I'm kidding...no,seriously,I'm sooo scared! My experience with babies is pretty much non-existant so I'm terrified.Plus this is forever!
I just can't belive that I'm gonna be a mother!

It hit me a few weeks ago but I don't think I'll fully belive it until I actually hold her for the first time...

I have had this revelation this week, it all of a sudden hit me on just how much life is about to change for me and Alex.. but how much fun are we gunna have learning along the way!!

I also agree that i'm not going to turn down help if I need it, it doesnt mean you've failed!

But to be honest the birth is the most scary aspect for me atm, as you say MrsP its fear of the unknown i think!

xXx

And the organisational thing - I am going to have to learn how to be organised and not do stuff at the last minute.
Exactly my sentiments!!!! xx

I agree with all of you!!!!! I know we'll all be great Mums... that's the fantastic thing about diversity, people all do things differently... I keep chopping and changing about the actual birth. Sometimes I think I'll be ok then I just think the most awful things!

Hee hee..... It's just such a massive learning curve.

Bless UVLollypop - I bet it's like this even when (IF) I have the next one!!

You ladies are ace!!! So glad it's not just me!!

I'm due tomorrow, though I don't think I really believe it yet. I'm so overwhelmed. I want her out and I just can't wait to see my OH holding our little girl, yet at the same time I'd love for her to stay in another few weeks so I could finish organizing everything because we're still unpacking and things are still messy! I'm also dreading the sleepless nights, I'm not sure how I'll be able to handle it, I do awful when I don't get enough sleep and tend to get sick if I have several nights of little to no sleep.
But it'll all be worth it, I can't wait to meet my little girl

I think everyone has read my Oh crap I am really having a baby posts!! I am terrified of what happens when they send me home with this little tiny baby!! I am fortunate to have a lot of support, my mum is coming to stay with me for 3 weeks after, so I know it will be ok, but really can't wrap my head around the thought of being someone's Mommy!!

i think i'm still in a 'is it really happening' mode. I can't quite believe that in a few week I'll be a Mummy. OH can't wait and i know we will be a happy little family. neither of us has much experience with babies - except my friends babies (5 born this year). I've talked to all of them endlessly and watched what they do and they all have diferent routines etc but they are all coping and really happy so i figure if they can do it so can I!
