| I do have a moses basket but it is all down to personal choice. I also have a crib which he will be going in aswell as the moses basket as I just prefer him to not be in such a bit cot straight away. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Its whatever is right for you. There is no right or wrong way! Ive got one so that I can keep it next to the bed at night and just lift baby out and feed him and then put him back. I think its just easier in the first few weeks.
The only other benefit is that you can move the moses basket to where you are. Newborns wont be distrubed by general house noise and apparently they sleep or doze better when there is noise. Thats the only other thing I can think of.
Plenty of people dont buy them so I wouldnt worry. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | We've got a crib for in our bedroom for the first few weeks, but only for ease of feeding! The plan is to put the baby in its own bedroom in its cot during the day. Will see what happens when it arrives! I might never put it down cos I'll miss my bump lol! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | We have a bassinet that actually comes off the stand and Chase prefers it. I can carry it to whatever room. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=9864292
Tried him in the moses basket the other day and he did not like it one bit. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Personally, we have a moses basket as we want LO with us. Although there is a cot in nursery and may use during the day when pottering around in he flat! (we have a dog!)
My sister put baby in his own room straight away.
Everyone has their own ways! x |

I'm Currently Feeling: | She'll be in a moses basket, and the moses basket will be in the cot.
Then i'll transfer her when she's getting too big for her moses. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I'm not getting one either, just cos i decided was a waste of money. Bean is staying in the room with me (not sure would be able to cope if not) just straight into the cot. I have a swinging cot thing that a friend has leant me but i dont want bean to sleep in it at night so that can go in the other room. Also you can put baby in a carry cot for short periods of time if you're not about or a travel cot. I just figured for me i wouldnt get much use out of it... but they are soooo cute |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Thanks for your views everyone. I'm sure she will be absolutely fine in her own room. I think I'm just feeling a bit overwhelmed with deciding what she actually needs considering all the stuff you can buy for babies nowadays! x |
