She'll be in a moses basket with us until I stop breastfeeding or she grows out of the moses basket - which ever happens first. I found it made life easier for night feeds.

Well we got our crib for free from the neighbor, but it's missing parts. We've ordered a new crib (it converts to a toddler bed and then a full bed, so it was worth spending money on), but we don't know when it will get here, so we got a graco pack and play (http://cgi.ebay.com/Graco-Pack-n-Pla...ayphotohosting) since I'm due in 2 days. We'll use that as a bassinet for a bit then it can be used as a play pen later. This way I can have her right next to the bed so I can be lazy and not have to get out of bed at night

Its whatever you're most comfy with I suppose. I preferred to have Bethanie with me, as I would have been checking her constantly otherwise. Who knows you may change your mind at the time, but whatever happens will be right for you and littlew one so best not to worry about it.

Well, our nursery will be ready with a crib by the time the baby comes. I see no harm in it, especially the way our bedrooms are set up upstaires. And most people I know have not had any issues with their babies going straight into cribs.

However, my dearest OH thinks having the baby in with us will be easier, so we are going to have a moses basket anyways. And we'll see how it goes, I know for a fact it will not last long as he is going to be working and it will wake him up if im in our room fumbling around with a baby. I will just end up taking bubs to her room anyways to feed and change, so I think it will be easier just to have her there.

well i wont be using a moses basket for the simple reason when i had my son we bought one and he would not sleep in it at all so it was a waste!!!

what i have done tho is bought a small swinging crib for downstairs, and the nursery upstairs is all set up and finished but i have put the cot in our room which she will sleep in for approx 3 months then after that we will move the cot in the nursery where she will sleep on her own!!

but i say its whateva you feel comfortable with theres no wrong and no right

I was planning to put my girl in her room, after she will born, during my pregnancy. So i had no moses basket. But the truth was- i didnīt want jump up and run to her room every hour to breastfeed(she was a hungry little baby!)- so i moved her cot into masterbedroom

We're not completely sure. It depends on the breastfeeding and night feeding and the two cats reaction to the LO. However, we don't have a Moses basket. Hubby says he'll just move the crib in with us if we decide to have the baby in the same room.

Don't worry about what other people think, just do what's best for you and the LO. It'll work out!!!

Although the nursery will be ready by the time our LO comes, we will be having a moses basket in our room for a few weeks and then I shall move LO into own room. I personally would like baby by my side for the first few weeks. x
