Hi All

Well just got back from my docs appointment and he seems much happier this week than last with my LO’s development. He was worried last week that my placenta was looking old and bubs wasn’t getting as much nutrition as she should be, so I went to the private clinic in the city for a scan, she said, yes looking older but not causing problems yet and that my protein level was low.

Sooooo, I went back today, 1 week later. So these are the results:

2 weeks ago – BP 110/60, Fundal height 35 cm, round belly length 98.34 cm, weight 75 kgs
Last week – BP 100/60, Fundal height 37 cm, round belly length 98.35 cm, weight 77 kgs.

As you can see, the round belly length had hardly grown and this is why the doc was worried as she should have grown more.

This week – BP 100/60 (great), Fundal height 38 cms (steady growth), round belly length… ……………………. 106.36 cm (THOUGHT MY PANTS WERE GETTING TIGHTER), weight 79 kgs.

So looks like she's made up in the last week the weight that she didn't the week before. He says she is approx. 3.2 kgs.

So looking good, I really felt like my belly had gone heavy. Doc seems happy, he’s given me some tablets to chew and I have to get something else later which should up my protein level. He seems to think that baby is growing as he gave me some medication for boosting circulation and my low heamoglobin levels, so as it stands at the mo, bubs is staying where she is! She is in the correct position but not dropped yet, he says I’ll know it when she does!!!

So I am either 37 or 38 weeks today and I have a feeling that she will show up late …… I always am!!!! Taking after mum (me) already. I really don’t feel like there’s anything happening, but I guess it can all change within 1 day, so we will see.

Brighter for bubs, yes, she's growing very well, but so am I!!!!!!!!!! Oh so heavy, everything is such an effort, tired, huge, in fact huge everything!!

Just read Merv mums thread about writing the one thread you said you wouldn't ...................... moaning about fed up you are. Well it's true, the end is hard, but then I look at the new mums around the forum and it keeps me going, nearly there!!!

Thanks girls, wish I could say I AM IN LABOUR!!!!!, but not yet. lol We are waiting to go and buy a new car (not new just new to us) so we have a 4 door instead of 2 door, much easier with car seat, so could do with her not coming till we've got it. Can't have OH choosing on his own!!!!!
