Mucus plug???? Not sure

Ok, I have been reading how a few of you have lost your mucus plug and this can happen as early as 6 weeks before you are due.

Well, for the last few weeks I have been wearing a light pad, mainly due to the fact that if I sneezed, it could get rather embarassing!!

Anyway, I have had heavier discharge for a couple of weeks but last night, I noticed that there was a little pink colour on my knickers and slightly on my pad (big knickers, smaller pad, you get the picture!) My question is, is the flow of the mucus plug different in everyone, e.g. some lose a lot and some only spotting???? There was nothing this morning, so maybe it was nothing or maybe that was it??!! It was literally spotting and only just that, so could it be something completely different??

A good puzzle for Tuesday morning!

I was losing clear plug from the sunday. Then Wednesday night i went to the loo & i had lost a little bit of blood. I rung labour ward & they said it was my show & labour should happen within 48hours.
Through the night i lost pink, dark/old blood. All diff kinds lol and my little girl arrived on the thursday. I was also 38wks.

If you do get any blood (which ever kind it is) just phone up labour suite just so they can ask some questions. Also they put it in your notes. Cos your not full term yet they may want to check you out.
Good luck! It does sound like your cervix is getting ready!

Oh don't we have so much to look forward to!!! lol.

Well definately not the plug but maybe the start??!! We will see. Must admit it's quite shocking to see pink in your knicks after so long of nothing, if I didn't know what to expect (thanks to everyone on here), then I'd probably be totally freaking out now!! Well we shall wait to see what the next few days brings, maybe a big blob of jelly!!!!

I haven't lost anything else, it was more spotting. My belly was heavy last night but did have a gorgeous meal with some friends! But, looking this morning, I just don't look like I've dropped at all, would I not drop first before I lose the plug? There again, when is there a set rule in pregnancy!!
