i use a comfort bag on my back when its really hurting. i havent tried any support belts or knickers but im sure the knickers are cheaper to use so why not try them?

if ur backs really hurting go to ur docs or mw and see if they can get u anything on perscription like a support belt

Havent tried a support belt personally, but my aunt said she swore by hers when she was pregnant! so they must be good, hope the pain subsides soon enough! Nice relaxing bath and feet up on the sofa with a good movie might help..

i haven't had this experience but if u tell the mw they'll be able to refer u to a physio if they think it's neccesary and they sometimes provide bands. Hope it eases up soon, try a warm bath

I've got alot of pelvic pain and go for physio tomorrow. My midwife suggested getting a support belt from mothercare. The one i got was £10 and is for pelvic and backpain. It fastens with velcro so you can tighten or loosen it. Its not very attractive but i feel my pain has eased (hasn't gone).

My doctor wasn't very helpful, just gave me a sick note, my midwife had better advice.

I just bought one today, only £10 from mothercare.

I don't have backache (yet) but I've been getting pains in the lower part of my bump, because LO has developed a habit this week of putting his bum (and thus all of his weight) at the front - over the overhang.

Only worn it today and it really seemed to help support his weight. Although have been taking it off when relaxing.

the £10 one in mothercare is only a bump band and they are used to hide the fact u cant do up ur jeans lol im wearing one right now! they dont give much supposrt at all

also id take it back if i was u and go to new look instead they do a pack of 3 bump bands for £9 so ur saving and getting more
