reusable nappies???

we've got reusable nappies, but we were talkin earlier bout whether to use disposables in the hospital??

am a bit unsure as i'm unsure whether there's gona be facilities to clean reusables, but OH says they'll give us help in makin sure we're usin reusables properly in hosp.

has anyone else used reusables and if so did you use them at hospital???

I got them for when I get home but I will be using disposible in the hospital
why dont you take some of each in with you

ditto i'm using totbots but have bought some newborn for the first few days till i'm home and settled

hey hun weve bought totsbots reuseables for when we come home, but I knew in hospital and probably a few days later Im not going to want to be washing nappies straight away so we bought tushies disposables they are biodegradable and dont contain any gel crystals inside, you can get them from health food shops or online I bought 80 because I have no idea how many I'll get through in a week

we're using reusables but have disposables packed for hospital - i think its easier since your pretty much on your own outside of visiting hours and i know my local hosp does not have facilities for reusables - the OH would have to take them home and wash... but the health visitor that comes round after to visit at home apparently is very happy helping you get used to reusables..

Best thing is ask the hosp.. you can always send the OH out to get a pack of disposables if it's too awkward for reusables in hosp - should only be a couple of nights tops any ways.
