I'm Currently Feeling: | Maternity support band??? Can anyone recommend a good maternity suppoet band that will help my SPD.
Just got back from midwife and she has got me an appointment for next tuesday for physio, but she suggested getting a support band from mothercare.
Just been on their website and they have 2, one for £35 and one for £10, haven't a clue which one to buy. I googled bump supports and there are so many to choose from.
Can anyone help?? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Sorry cant, i got mine from my consultant at the hospital as it needed to be measured and fitted properly because of other problems. I would say it would prob be worth spendin that lil bit more and get one that properly fits and helps XxX |

| I always thought they were given to you! £35 seems pricey but if it does the trick its worth it, rather than getting the cheaper one and it not helping then you ending up getting the £35 anyway. hope it helps hun xxx |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Don't know whether to wait till i've been for physio next week. Its just that a week is a long time to wait when your in pain. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | The £35 one is the type you need hun for the pain but if you can hold off i'd say wait itll you have been to physio again, they'll hopefully supply you with the band and they'll tell you how to fit it properly |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I got one for free, which was fitted at the hospital. I'm back there next week, and it looks like i'll be getting crutches, cause it's getting so much worse i can barely walk. |

| the £10 doesnt give much support at all they are just used to cover bump and also if u wear ur jeans n dont do up the button lol so u might have to get more expensive one or have a look at support knickers |

I'm Currently Feeling: | dont waste your money buying one, wait till your appointment and get one from physio or midwife. They will be able to get you a correct fit too.
Personally i thought it was useless - my physio gave me mine. |
