I'm Currently Feeling:  |  Update on me
I posted yesterday saying I think im in labour and......
I am!  Early stages but definitely on the right track! Was having intense backache and period type cramps yesterday which were getting steadily worse (although no actual contractions). Went to hosp around 4.30 and was eventually given an internal at about 6pm - I'm nearly 3 cm dilated which i'm amazed at because the level of pain ive got at the mo is minimal and im the biggest wimp around! 60% effaced and according to the mw am progressing nicely! Was sent home as the labour ward was really busy but told to go back as soon as the pain intensifies.
Asked the midwife how long she thinks I've got and she said she would expect me back in today! Oooooh!
Pains are still strong in my front and back but bearable so im staying at home until I feel I need some pain relief. Apparently my waters are bulging too and she said its highly likely they will go soon! Really hope things progress quickly, I want my baby today!
