I'm Currently Feeling: | 36 Week App.... not good.... Mia is fine.... as am I... so no need to panic !!
BP and Urine, Heartrate and Bump measurement all perfect.
But she's still breech. I did tell the mw how scared of ECV I am ( manual turning ), and still somehow ended up with an appointment for ECV next Tuesday at 11:30. I knew this would happen. I just feel so out of control !! She has told me that the JR have a really good success rate for turning baby, and that I'm an idela candidate because of having lots of fluid, and having had 2 babies before, so everything is more relaxed.... but I'm still really really scared...
They will do it on Delivery Suite, and she said I don't get an injection to relax the uterus (or me), they just go ahead and do it !!!
So there you go.... I'm typing this whilst leaning over the arm of the sofa.
She did recommend Moxibustion accupressure... I told her that it's £30 a session... and considering they reckon about 3-5 sessions are needed, it's just something I can't afford. She looked at me like I was mad, and said that wouldn't it be worth it to avoid c-section..... Well... yes... BUT I CAN'T AFFORD IT
Ok.... rant over |

Did I see somewhere about sitting on a ball like I am to turn Hebe??? I bought a large fitness ball from Soccer Sports or Sports Direct for £8. A bit less than those sessions.
I find getting on my hands an knees ridicuously hard work!!!
Do what you can and see how it goes babe. if you dont want to have the ECV then dont - you ARE in control - dont be bullied.

And im sorry you feel out of control and have to go to ECV next week.
As for saying aint it worth it....im sorry but do some people not realise that sometimes you cant magic money from no where. If you cant afford something, you cant afford it. Sorry but thats really p'ed me off cant they offer you it on NHS?
Actually stupid question obviously they would have offered you it if they would. Just upsets me how they can never give people the things they need.
Sorry hunni it never went to well. XxxxX |

I'm Currently Feeling: | hun shit news Im surprised they going to try and turn you so early youve still got a few weeks to go the john radcliffe is a very good hospital and you'll be in good hands there. Its great news that everything else went well with your appointment though both you andmia seem to be doing well have you tried on all fours to get her to turn by herself?
If that lady cant understand you cant afford something why isnt it available on the nhs stuck up cow |

x | That's it...... I really held back the tears in my appointment, and now I'm crying like a baby !!!
I have a ball, but haven't really used it an awful lot. I knwo what you mean about all fours... especially on wood flooring... ouch. And now my boobies are killing from leaning over the arm of the chair.. so I can save my knees by kneeling on the sofa |
