i wander if any midwifes are out there that have a look at out threads ??? it would be good if one could get on

They probably wouldn't offer any advice as they don't know the paitent or situation anyway.

they could offer advice as what to do , we all give advice and we are not midwife or doctor but they would no what things mean in our notes

I don't think it would be cool at all.

What if a midwife came on here and gave bad advice leading to something drastic happening to an individual? She wouldn't be responsible, but BnB might.

Each midwife practices differently, has different experiences and education.

The only advise a MW can offer is "Phone your MW/GP."

Same as they're not meant to advise friends outside of workplace.

This is true as well.

If a midwife came on here, she wouldn't know your health history, etc. So, once again, perhaps leading to bad advice.

I agree, also she would prob think were all metally ill lol and not able to look after a child the way we go on Or at least she would think im crazy XxX

Actually i have to agree that it wouldnt be good! We all come on here to offer advice as pregnant ladies who have had similar problems/issues, not as a professional!
Im a nurse but certainly do not offer advice as if i was working, i just give my personal not professional advice here! Its a cruel world and being a mw on here could have very horrible consequences for his/her career!
Sorry to be a stick in the mud!..... just my opinion! x
