How accurate are the weights given at later scans?

Hello

Just returned from 34 week scan, with a measurement of 4lb 13lbs, which i was relieved about.... as that should end up at 7lb something baby (shouldn't it?!)

Just wondered how the weights panned out when you had a measurement at a later scan? where any way off, either above / under? Is this false relief?!?!

Just curious really! I had visions of 10lb baby due to 6'6" husband, obviously a smaller makes me calmer! x

I assume they're accurate enough. I hope this one is smaller for you. My partner is 6ft 7 and our son was 8lb 2oz, but very long!!!

people always told me they can be waaay off by like a kilo either way, but mine was pretty spot on. they told me between 3.2 and 3.5 kgs and he was almost 3.2
i also had doctors feel the baby to assess the weight which i was told is very "old school" but a doctor who does it well is usually pretty accurate.
who knows?
