Hospital stay?

Do you HAVE to stay at the hospital for at least 1 day? No matter what?
The thought of staying there all on my own makes me nervous
The only time i went to the hospital was being born myself and getting scans done

My hospital says you can go home 6 hours after the birth if everything is ok or you can opt to stay for 24 hours....check with your hospital

Atleast 6hours if alls well. But if you give birth late evening, you'll be kept till morning.

I had my son at 5pm and was kept in until morning. I think hospitals have a "last discharge" time.

I would check with your hospital policy, but as long as its a normal easy birth its usually about 6 hrs ish!

I think its a good idea to atleast stay there for ur first night because they can help u so much and that means u get the sleep u need and deserve after giving birth!

i hate being on my own too lol and hate hospitals but theres always tv to watch lol
