breast feedn ....confused!!!!!!


hi ladies..... getn a bit stressd out now ...im 34 wks n hav finaly decided i am goin to breast feed in hosp...well try anyway n see how it goes.....wot do i need to buy for this ?? ther seems to b so much .....breast pads......nursing bras.....pumps......niple shields......etc etc....wots all this stuff for n do i actualy need to get it all ?? xxx

I'm Currently Feeling: 


All i'm getting is breast pads and maternity bras. The other stuff u can get only if u need it.

I agree breast pads, front opening nightie primark do cheap ones, Im not taking my breast pump because Ive been told they have an electric one that goes on both breasts( yeah I will know what it feels like to be a cow hehe) I have been told to get nipple cream which I havent got yet

Supposedly you are better of using a bit of your own milk to moisture your nipples rather than using the creams!

mums a lactation consultant and says it's the best thing you can use!

I'm Currently Feeling: 


All i have bought so far for BF is -
- Breast pump as i plan to express aswell.
- Tommi Tippy close to nature bottles as they are supposed to be great if you want to breast & bottle feed the expressed milk
- Avent milk storage bottles
- Bottle and teat brush
- Nursing bra
- & Breast Pads

Im going to give it a go with all that and see how we get on
