| I have one on Wednesday, think they do them for all sorts of reasons; medication you take / bp / size of bump / diabetes

I'm Currently Feeling:  | Growth scan update and pic!
I'm back!! Thanks for all your good wishes evryone. Well, it seems that bubs is definitely ahead, and although apparently not way out of the ordinary, is definitely above average.
The sonographer took loads of measurements, and head circumference is already 307.9mm (isn't that like 30cm!!) 
Adominal circumference is 274.9 mm, and femur length is 62.0mm.
Anyway to sum it up, all measurements were off the top of the scale, and they estimate that bubs weighs 4lb 5oz already!  (hysterical/nervous laughter)
So is it correct that from now on bubs puts on approx half a pound a week? If so then he/she will go up to about 9 and half pound. However I have always sad that I believe my dates to be approx 2 weeks out, so that would take me to 8lb 5oz, which seems much better!
So got a consultant's appt on Wednesday, and will see what they say then. I'm hoping that they will offer to induce me a bit earlier, rather than try to get me to have a c-section. Fingers crossed....
On the plus side bubs was very chilled out in there, comfortably head down, and we manged to get a couple of pics of his/her face. I was surprised how clear it was on the screen, we could see all the features so clearly. Got a few pics, and this was the best one.
