I'm Currently Feeling:  | Oh oh oh!!!
Ok ladies.... I fear the bitch in me may come out in this post!!.....
In preparation I decided to drop some polite hints regarding the space I'll need when Bubs arrives. Ya know just so as that it wouldnt seem completely abrupt if they arrived at the hospital and were turned away.... now tell me whats wrong with this conversation....-
Me-' Yeah the cha with my MW really helped to put my mind at ease, and she says Ill be allowed minimal visitors at hospital to give myself time to recover...
Friend- 'well its not like your havin surgery, Im sure theres lots of people who will want to go out and see you'
Me- 'true but labour isnt an easy task and Im sure people will understand. Only family will be allowed in, and even then only at certain times'
Friend- 'Well heaven help that MW if she tells me I can't go in and see ya!! At least once your home Ill be up as often as I like to see you and the baby!'
I mean......WTF???!!!??? She has barely contacted me in weeks! She seems to have great trouble taking a hint! And that 'its not like your havin surgery' comment really made my blood boil!

My DH is quite prepared to turn people away but I said I'm not so sure you can do that, but he is of the opinion they should call first.x x |
