I'm Currently Feeling: | im scared ok well mw hasnt told me baby is big, she sed im measuring exact for dates but she did say i am all baby, which is def true, but i think hes going to be big, i can feel him so well and im so heavy and my belly is always rock hard where its all him in there lol,and i just no he is too, and i wasnt so worried about it before but now im starting to get really scared, im not bothered hes going to be big but its the giving birth to the big baby that scares me lol.
i rekon theres no way hes under 8 lbs , and im scared that from now till he born, spec if he goes overdue(which i also think he gna) hes gonna be growing even mre so he still gonna get bigger.

I'm Currently Feeling: | Dont be scared darling. Worrying about his size aint gonna make him shrink!!! He's gonna come out one way or another and women have massive babies all the time - I dont think it makes a great deal of difference!! Its gonna sting but when you have him in your arms you'll forget it all.

I'm Currently Feeling: | If your belly is measuring right on, don't worry about the size. He sounds like he will be average weight. If you are all belly, then you won't have so much to lose later on. Oh yeah, don't forget that you have lots of fluid, and a big placenta in there taking up room too. You'll be fine. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | My midwife has said the same to me, and has booked me in for a scan at the hospital as she wants measurements etc, then she says once she has the exact results from that we will discuss it further... Whatever that means... She says I've got a huge bump and can see why I'm struggling with walking etc... So I have no idea what will happen from there...
From her measuring me a few weeks ago, she said I was looking toward 8 to 9lbs (at birth) and asked me to go back, which I did, this was last week I went back (I was 33+2)... She said she was hoping it was just a growth spurt but the baby is growing at a very steady pace and is still measuring big...
On all of her scans though, from day one, she's always measured big...
I'm not worried to be honest, as I keep saying to the Other Half... What goes up must come down. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I wouldn't worry about it When my BFs mum was pregnant with him...she said she was bigger than I am now. I'm all baby too. She said when he was born he only weighed just over 6lbs. It can go either way I think as long as baby comes out fine it doesn't matter how much he weighs |

I'm Currently Feeling: | my friend is only 5ft 2 and very petite but her son was born just under 9lbs but she had a 'good' labour - only needed gas and air..
figure nature takes care of these things, wouldn't let something grow bigger than would come out..
Me and my littlest bro were both well over 9lbs, and the twins were both 7lbs each - my mum isn't that big a person but she does like having large babies and it never put her off having more...
Don't be scared - you'll be fine x | | | | Status: Offline
