Just thought of something.

The scheduling of my C-section really sucks as I get out just before the 3 day long weekend just before my kids go back to school.

Now thinking, the day I get out, which is a Friday, we will have the stepkids that weekend too. UGH!

This is why I was so hoping that when my gynecologist checked into the 22nd that my date would have been switched. As it is, a cancer patient is in for a three hour surgery that day and that is why they are booked.

Ok, I can tolerate the back to school day, but I will not be able to tolerate 3 extra kids for that weekend. Truly, they could care less about the messes they make (Bad enough that I dread this weekend coming up after I've spent so much time cleaning this house).

I seriously have to discuss this particular weekend with OH and maybe we can compromise and have them over for one night only so they could all see the baby.

They advise you not to drive for 6 weeks here too.

I think what I will do is wait until I have delivered and talk to OH. He'll forget if I talk to him now.

Besides, he's kind of starting to remember what my recuperation was like so by the time it is done he will really remember.

Ya, talk to your OH. You'll definitely need to take it easy and recuperate properly!

I remember my sister didn't relax enough after her C-section and she actually lost her stitches was bleeding some and had fluid back-up up. She managed to call hubby and an ambulance came but she was sitting in the bath tub with the baby since she didn't know what else to do until they came.

Definately talk to OH hon, that's a lot to take on when you have been through C-section.

You need to be taking it easy. x x

I've brought up the subject with my OH and, fair enough, he said we'd talk about it the closer it got. Whether they just come for a visit, come for one night, or what not. Perhaps they'll step up to the plate and help me out especially with my little ones, perhaps they won't. So we shall see how it goes.
