sex at 39 weeks to start of labour-advice plz

I was induced and nothing is happening at all and now only have 4 more days til due date and i'm so desperate to have him out. If not i will need c-sec on monday as he will be too big for natural birth.
I so want to have natural birth, and i talked to OH about having sex to start of labour.
We haven't done that since i got pregnant and he was always worried about doing it because he can feel the baby movement and doesn't feel comfrotable to do it.
Also my bit there is quite sore and also my bum. I don't feel comfortable doing it, but don't want c-sec.

Question is, would it be 100% safe to do it ? Doctor didn't do another sweep for me , she said might give me infection down there, so what about sex?

I'm so frustrated right now

ooo! so if it's recommended by MW, it should be ok. Only problem is my bit there is quite sore,lol

Apologies for being a bit explicit, but perhaps try having some fun on your own before bringing your partner into the fold to partake, that way you can make sure you're ready. I am sure as long as he is gentle there is no risk to the baby.

Anyway, the chemicals they use to induce you actually contains pig semen (semen naturally stimulates the cervix into opening), I am sure your hubbys is far more desirable no? lol

If you really are sore then maybe you could get him to the point of ...... you know..... then he could quickly deposit his......you know..... into you and then you wouldn't have to have full on sex?

I understand why you wouldn't want to have sex cos of soreness and everything else but it could be quite quick since you haven't in such a long time - as long as his mind is in the right place and not being worried about the baby. - or like taperjeangirl put - other forms of stimulation with minimal actual sex would be worth a try.
