To excited to sleep and in a bit of pain.....I'm such a wimp, I dread to think what I'm gonna be like in a souple of hours.....my spelling will be utterly gibberish by then

If I had my way I'd be at the hosiptal already but everytime I ring up they tell me to wait a couple of hours, at this rate I'll be giving birth in the car on route

Im sure you will handle it great hun! Just try and breath thru it easier said than done i know.

Have you got any ideas on a birth plan? or should i say have you got any preference for pain relief lol. The hospital kept trying to put me off with my first but in the end i had meconium in my waters so i had to go in in the end anyways.

Original birth plan:- Water birth and gas & air....
Revised birth plan:- All types of pain relief and lots of it....

No only joking, I'd still really like to try a water birth but at the moment walking around is the only thing that helps with the pain, which I can't do sat in a pool.

I phoned them an hour ago so I'll leave it another 30 mins and then I'm going in, even if I have to camp out in the car park until they let me in

at your revised birth plan lol. Just go with wot feels right at the time. When i had my son i didnt go to the hospital with a birth plan i just knew i wanted to try and stick to gas and air and a birth pool but it didnt go that way in the end i just went with wot felt right at the time. How far apart are your contractions now?

4 minutes apart and bloody painful...

That's true about going with what feels right, at the moment drugs and lots of them

I'm sure a mammoth sized bar of galaxy choccy would make me feel better, unfortunately there's nowhere open at this time of night.....It would probably make me sick anyway..
