I'm Currently Feeling: | Lost my plug and very confused Had my midwife appt on Tuesday but my usual midwife was off and I got turned away by the other midwife as I turned up at 11.20 (as it said on my appointment card) but she reckons I was booked in for 11.10 - so not happy!
Went back on Weds and saw a lovely midwife though so that was ok!
Anyway, I lost my plug on Tuesday afternoon and mentioned this to mw. She had a good feel of my belly and showed me where LO's shoulders were - how can they get so low without actually coming out! Fundal height is 39cm and things are coming along well. Mw booked me in for next Tuesday as I see her every week now but she said she didnt think I would go any further than the weekend because of losing my plug etc
So its now Friday and absolutely nothing is happening! I got all my hopes up that LO would be on her way but it seems mw was wrong
Why did she say that to me! I want my LO NOW!!! lol
Also, how long is it usually until labour starts after losing your plug? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | You have time
Don't mean to disappoint, but the plug can come away and then re-make itself up... But I think that would only happen if you lost it alot sooner. You are full term now, so anything could happen. Here's lot's of labour dust for you |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Aww bless ya. I lost my bloody show at 9pm on Boxing day (at 38wks) & at 10.37pm on the 27th Dec my LO entered the world.
They say that if you lose your clear show labour could be upto 2wks away & it could grow back. Bloody show labour should happen with in 48hours.
Good luck
