what you reckon to this?

as you all know i have hubby parents round for a week.

well at first they were going home on saturday or sunday, then it was just his dad going home on sunday then his mum staying until tuesday.
his dad is back at work on monday but his mum isnt back at work until wednesday.
then this morning his mum was on the phone to her sister and she said that they were gonna go home today but gonna stay until 2mora to see what midwife says at my apointment 2mora.
then they both might go home or his dad will and his mum will stay.

well, im having a sweep 2mora but not telling his parents that.
i need to think and need all of your help to think of what i can tell his parents what the midwife said so they will go home.

do you think if i say that midwife said that nothing has changed since last week but she cant give me a day/date for my induction as hospital is busy so the hospital will call me on the morning they want me to come in.

do you think his parents will believe me.?

I would believe you then i wouldnt have a reason to doubt you....and neither should they. Thing with being overdue is it can be 1 day or 10. So you just really cant tell. XxxX

Why don't you just be honest with them and explain that you would prefer just you and your OH when the time comes. Or that you want to spend the last few days with just him as you wont have that again???

im just hoping baby doesnt decide to come tonight coz then i wont get rid of them.

his mum thinks she is coming to midwife with me.
i dont think so some how.

x im being induced around tuesday time but shhush im not telling them that x x

Just tell them that the mw did an internal, and your cervix is still closed and long.... the baby seems happy, so they don't see a reason to induce you until the 14 day cut off

Stuff em, your baby not theirs. Do what you want to do, if that's means telling a white lie to give you "you" time, then so be it. What does OH say? Does he want them around or is he not bothered??

And here I am trying to make sure OH can at least come in with me (Bulgaria are still in the dark ages about that, but private hospital allow it ......... at a cost of an extra 100 leva!!)

What is said between MW and you stays there, so you tell MinL whatever you want, look after you x

Man they are being pretty damn invasive!! I think you have two options here

a) Tell em the truth (possibly more of a chance of you ridding them this way, but could result in hurt feelings)

b) Lie your lil toosh off! (Less chance of hurt feelings but possibility they might decide to stick around)

arh thts a good idea about the internal.

the only thing is by my dates ill be 14 days over on monday and his mum knows that.
