I haven't but my m/w actually said to start if we want. She also said it can be frozen now ready to be used after the birth.

I have wanted to but haven't got a breast pump and although I plan to express by hand I don't think my supply is up to it yet. One of them won't play at all! lol

Haven't tried but when I lean on them, it kind of happens inadvertantly. I don't want to encourage it until a LOT nearer the time but I don't see why it would do any harm.

lol....I see your reasoning now. I dunno but I suppose it follows the nipple stimulation thing anyway.
I tried that last weekend...(you do have to do it properly I reckon and that is to imitate the baby's suckling motion) and all I got was very sore breasts the following day! lol

Considering my baby is now overdue...I might pop off for a while and express some milk. In fact, I'll try collecting a little just to see how much I can get...will give me something to do. So bored and really can't be bothered cleaning conservatory which is my last room in the house to get done.....I can always shut the door on it eh?

Let us know if you try it and if it works...I'll come back later and update

Might work, you never know! Some of the pumps have suckling motions which can be adjusted quite well, so it may stimulate the milk.

Id like to be able to pump prior to birth too, then I would have some milk for the hospital! I dont know though, my boobs have barely grown since pre-pregnancy and arnt even sore anymore.

same, i havnt been soar since around 10 weeks, is that bad?????

mine have only gone up 1 cup size, so no major changes here, does that mean breast feeding is less likely for us?

I wouldn't say so...my boobs grew and then strangely have now shrunk to exactly the same size they were pre-preg. I have def milk supply though. It doesn't leak but I can force it out by hand. We'll find that our bust grows again a few days after birth when the milk comes in properly. I'm quite looking forward to my Jordan phase
