all, Hope ur all ok!

I saw the MW today i'm 31 weeks +1 day usually u go at 32 weeks but i'm away next week on holiday so the MW said she wanted to see me and get checked over b4 i go.
So anyway i'm measuring bigger, which i kinda knew i would as i do feel pretty huge and Joshua was a big baby. But i'm quite far over the growth line than i should be. I am now starting to feel like i'm gonna give birth to a hippo and the MW has said she's not concerned yet so i shouldn't worry. She's asked to see me in 2 weeks time, do they usually see u every 2 weeks from 32 weeks or is she keeping an eye on me do u think?

When she felt her she said she's head down which she was at 28 weeks but when i have gotten home and read my notes she's put she's 5 5ths engaged!!! Isn't that when ur ready to go into labor and it's fully engaged?? I'm now worried i am ready for labor...... please ladies put my mind at rest, this is my second baby so i always thought number 2 took longer to engage?? pls help!

I'm seeing midwife at the moment every 3 weeks?? x

no 5/5 engaged is the least engaged u can be i think hun..! 1/5 is fully..! in my notes midwife has wrote down how often i see her and its got......28,31,34,36,38,40.....about the engagment it says 5/5 free, 4/5 sitting on pelvic brim, 3/5 lower but most is still above brim, 2/5 egaged,asmost is below & 1/5 or 0/5 is deeply engaged..!! hope that helps

well usually u see ur m/w at 31 weeks then 34 weeks so if ur going on hol then it works out right i think lol

im measuring 2 weeks smaller m/w told me 2 weeks bigger or smaller is ok anything more and they will do a growth scan

with the engaging it goes brim 5/5, 4/5, 3/5, 2/5, 1/5 fully engaged. I wouldnt worry my LO engaged at 31 weeks then became free then engaged then free and so on lol

yeh i think they start at every 2 weeks now for you!! Maybe your LO has just had a growth spurt!! Im sure if your measuring big next time they will book you in for a growth scan!!

Im also measuring big for my dates the midwife said if im showing big next time she will send me for a growth scan. I do think they start seeing you every 2 weeks from now cus ive got my 32 week app next week and then she said ill start seeing you every 2weeks after that.

im not sure bout midwife visits as i see my midwife everyweek atm but i looked in my notes as i have a list thing and it says they usually c u at 36 wks ,38 weeks , then 40, then 41-42 hope this makes sense . so every 2 weeks haha

and 5/5ths wud mean free i think, ive had this confusion with the whole 5ths thing too, but think ive got the hang of it now thanks to ladies on b n b lol xx

1/5 is fully engaged and at scotland mine was 32 then 36. So she must be keeping an eye on you hunnie.

My bean is also head down etc... I think that its pretty normall to be seeing the MW like that
