I'm Currently Feeling: | I had mine yesterday too and she's deep in the pelvis. Just thought I'd mention that I have spent the last few weeks rocking and bouncing on the ball and sitting with my pelvis tipped forward and legs wide apart always (very attractive)!!! Since this last weekend I've also been doing lots of walking and walking up and down stairs. I don't think bubs has been engaged for long, but I'm pretty sure it's all the walking and opening up the pelvis.
You have probably done all this, but thought I would mention it! |

| What does it feel like when baby's engaged then?
This is my first baby, so not quite sure - but I think my bubs is engaged?
Feels really heavy in my pelvis the last week and can feel a bulge between my legs when I sit or go to the toilet. He's still moving about a lot tho - the same as a few weeks ago. |

I think if ur carrying a smaller baby, the pressure down below wont be as much as if u had a heavier baby, so the feeling for everyone is different. yesterday i was feeling movement very low down. not sure what it could be lol. but at my last appointment which was 36 weeks baby was 4/5. I have a scan tomorrow and then see my GP the next day, so we'll see (hope baby is dowwwnnnn as can be lol - i want labour to start !!!) | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I was 4/5ths at my presentation scan at 36wks and yesterday she said that she couldn't feel any of the head, so ishe is fully engaged. I haven't had that much change in pressure and no let up in hearburn etc etc. So, I don't always think it is possible to tell youself! My low down movements are little hands on the opposite side to where the back is lying and I think I can feel her head moving sometimes too, but not a lot. Actually the one thing that I just remembered that has changed since she engaged is that her back no longer moves from left to right on my front. She's just staying on the right all the time now! I'm Currently Feeling: | My son didn't engage completely until I was in labour. When you do go into labour, make sure you walk and rock your hips as much as possible as that will bring the head down for ya. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | ah right...so i guess thats why walkin is meant to help coz of the rocking movement in the hips etc ? hmm
