Reduced movements

Hey ladies

I wonder if you can give me a bit of advice. This last week movements seemed to have slowed right down. I get the odd bouncing belly as it looks like he travels across it but the movements feel more constricted. I have researched it and it looks like this is normal but I'm slightly worried. I felt some light movements last night but so far his morning haven't felt anything....

I'm just slighty concerned.....

Have something sweet to eat, and cold to drink, and then lay down quietly for 20 mins or so. Babe will most probably become active then. If you aren't counting 10 movements in 24 hours, you need to get checked out.
You at the stage where space is a bit more restricted now, so the movements wil be more squirmy than kicks

I know you've already solved your little problem but I find that my baby has a very distinct sleep pattern now.. She'll be awake at about 7am and then sleep until about 12 so I always get worried at that time and think 'oh no I've not felt the baby yet today' when in actual fact I have, I was just half asleep and didn't take that much notice If I eat anything cold (Ribena ice lollies yummy) she wakes up for five mins but if its during her sleeping time.. Lol good luck to anyone wanting to wake her

I had this at 32 weeks and cause it was the weekend and I was seein the midwife on Mon I left it and worried about it all weekend. When I went the midwife on the mon and told her she listened to the heartbeat and said it was fine but any reduced movements should always be reported as thats the only way they can tell everything is ok - she sent me the hospital to be monitored that dsy just to be sure and lo and behold as soon as I got there and they put the monitor on he started jumping around and makin a liar out of me

But basically everything was fine but the hospital told me not to stress and if I was at all worried I should phone the antinatal day unit or labour ward day or night any time to get checked over as they have women coming in all the time for this! So although I am sure everything is perfectly normal if your at all worried I would go and get checked so your not stressing x
