midwife wont give me a sweep until next friday.
then ill be induced the next thursday at the latest.

How goes it with the In-Laws??

well hubby has put them off until tomorrow.
they will be down tomorrow afternoon.
but ive had enough of his mother already and she isnt even here yet, she keeps texting me about every half an hour saying 'are you still ok?'

Sorry to gatecrash into 3rd trimester (again ) but I would hate to have anyone around when I was about to go into labour...can't your OH ask his parents to wait until the baby has been born? Or at least tell them that if they do want to visit they won't be able to stay at the house. Surely his mum at least must understand what it's like?

hey hun,

well his mum has got it into her head that this baby is coming on the 4th(monday) and she has said that since i was about 9 weeks pregnant.
they have the week off work.

i dont mind them coming to visit but i think they think im a dog and can walk for hours at a time. i dont fancy being/going into labour when they are here.

about her understanding what it like, thats what i thought but she seems to be too over the top.
im dreading it.

i saw midwife yesterday and she wouldnt give me a sweep but will give me one next friday and then ill be induced the next thursday, so when his mum text to see how it went i told her that ive got midwife next friday then will be induced on the following thursday.(didnt tell her about the sweep)
but she texted back 'oh you dare go over that far'

what does that bloody mean?
i cant force this baby out. (well i can but if its more comfy in than out then im not gonna force it)

I haven't looked at my phone.. didn't hear it though... hmmm

I wish my hubby would get the bloody nesting instinct... I have a list of about 20 jobs that need doing before babe comes, and only 4 of them have a 'ME' start next to them... so he needs to get his butt into gear.

I know you don't really want to go overdue, but maybe it would work out better so that you'd be just you and hubby
