Hiya. Transverse means thta bubs is lying across your tummy. As babe gets bigger, they more than likely will turn to 'up and down' position, as they will get too long to be comfortable in the transverse position. Mine was transverse for a while, and then she decided to spin to breech a couple of weeks back.

They can perform an 'external cephalic version' if the babe is not in the head down position. This entails a doc actually manipulating baby around in the uterus. Sometimes they give you a drug to relax the uterus too, so that they have more manouverability. To be honest I'm not looking forward to this. So I've been spending alot of time crawling around like a baby

Get on all fours with your bum in the air, this helps babe to turn to head down .
