Spotting?

I woke up this morning and when I wiped (sorry if TMI), there was a bit of blood there. Kind of like when you spot before you get your period. Should I call my doctor? I checked the LO's hb, and she seems ok... but I am worried.

Ask to speak to a doctor, ask for a phone consultation and he/she will suggest if you need to go in or not. But if the heartbeat is fine then i am sure baby is okay. however, better safe than sorry.

Thanks. It seems to have stopped, so I will call the office when they open.

Maybe just a cervical erosion?
If the HB is fine then it's probably nothing. But you're never to safe not to call the doctor!

I called, and although the OB is not overly concerned, I have to go in this afternoon to be checked just to be safe. With the cord issue, she just wants to make sure that everything is ok.

It is so worrying isnt it?

Im sure everything will be just fine.

Unfortunately i have had 5 bleeds so far - 2 terrible ones.
The last one was on Friday last week and i went in to get checked. The Dr said it was due to hormone changes in the cells in the cervix and that Bean was doing just fine. This maybe the case with you?

Im sure you will be ok, thinking of you.

After an exhausting day at the hospital, I am finally home!! Everything is just fine, as I suspected. But it is nice to have it confirmed. They did a bunch of bloodwork, then checked me internally (yuck), and I had a sonogram. It was awesome to see her (always is) and we re-confirmed that she is, indeed, a she. The sonographer was very nice, and we saw her put her thumb in her mouth while we were watching. Sooo cute. I got my Rhogam shot, and then finally they sent me home to rest. Whew!!
