Swelling ???

Hiya,

I've had swollen ankles since yesterday. They are still slightly swollen this morning. I have no other swelling... eg. face, hands. But have had trace protien for about 4 weeks now. No headaches, or visual dusturbance.

Do you think I should get checked out, or not worry.

was it like a sudden swelling to your ankles??
Every appointment Ive had Ive had big feet and legs... they are really quite another species lol!!! They dont go down over night either!! Iv had protein and then trace in my urine also but without the headaches and rib pains they dont want me to go in!! But are advised every appointment if I get this to go to labour ward!!!
Whats your blood pressure like??

unfortunately I think the swelling is norm... it seems that way for me anyway !!
Maybe cos it was a tad warmer yesterday also

Yeah it was sudden... I was sat in the car for 5 hours yesterday, and they swelled when I was in the car. It was really hot, so that's probably it. My blood pressure has been really good all the way through. I just don't want to go in again, and it be nothing. I feel like I spend all my time down at that drop in, and they must think I'm a mad worrier !!!

Thats good, give them a call, but since the long car ride and the heat I think thats normal...
Plus, your BP has never been high if I remember?

Hopefully it's all just part of the joys of pregnancy

ouch !! the skin looks really tight !!

It's literally only my ankles that have swollen... where the ankle bone is... it almost hung over the top of my trainers. Not attractive !!

I've just rang them, and of course... I need to pop in just to be on the safe side I think I'll probably just wait til a bit later.
