38 week midwife app


is this just the same as any other midwife appointment?? they dnt do and internal do they?????

nope i didn't get an internal at mine infact i think it was one of my shortest appointments so far!

I am from the USA and I got an internal at 36 weeks and again this morning at my 38 week appointment...it's not bad.

I think it depends on how well things have progressed since last time. A good friend of mine didnt have a single internal all the way through her pregnancy (until she was in labour obviously!) but I had one at 31 weeks and was told this morning I may need one at my next appointment (36 weeks) as baby is engaged and they'll need to check in case im dilating etc
They really arent that bad though, mine didnt hurt at all and was over in seconds.
