So my mother wanted to help me with the baby and buy me a new dresser, well that didn't happen because she kept putting it off and doesn't realize I don't want to be still unorganized when the baby gets here!
Well my great-grandmother had one she wanted to give me as a gift (she had to move into a nursing home) so I just decided to take that one since LORD KNOWS my mom will never get around to buying me one. Well she still insisted that she wanted to help me out one way or another and something that would really help would be if her/her boyfriend could sand it down and stain it, I can't because I'm pregnant and don't want to be inhaling dust and all that crap, well she told me that her boyfriend would do it Saturday and now she calls me today to tell me that she hasn't even asked him and they're throwing a surprise party for her mum so he can't do it Saturday but 'he'll get it done don't worry'.What kind of bullshit is that!? I could have hired somebody to do it for me, and what's worse is I DID go and pick out a dresser for her to buy me (I can afford it myself she wanted to buy it though) and she just never got around to picking it up nevermind sanding it and staining it.

Why don't I just fucking give up on her already I could have had my damn dresser and had all my stuff set up properly if she didn't fucking blow me off like this all the time! It just doesn't fucking end does it.

Well try and not worry about it too much! I know it will be hard, because I fought with my BF over getting a dresser forever, and he FINALLY just put it together.

Everything will work out. I have a feeling your little guy is gonna be here sooooon! Like next few days soon and your mom will kick her butt into gear and get that dresser!

Thanks that brings the hope back! Every twinge I get I keep thinking oh god, this is it, but nothing so far.
Hopefully your feelings are true though and he decides to arrive already! It just pisses me off that I could have had that damn dresser if I'd just bought it myself. I have the money, I don't know why I didn't. Oh well though, going to go out on Saturday and get myself a pre-stained dresser so I won't have to fight with her to stain the bloody thing!

Is there an Ikea there? I bought a pretty good cheap one and it did seem kinda hard to put together, but I know you can hire someone from Ikea to put it together for you.
