So good to hear the little guy is ok...
You are most definitely not a failure! Don't let me heart you say that ever again!

Hun,you work very hard,it's good that you plan to do some relaxing more, you need it...

Plus was it hot that day? That can pump up your BP.

Failure?!!!!! Never use that word in pregnancy! its not easy!!!! And you are most def not 1!
As for babe being alittle on the small size, dont worry about that with a figure like yours you werent going to produce the biggest baby in the world were you?!!!

I really think you need to consider leaving work early, you do work alot of hours and with the stress of your job and worrying about your scan that is def going to increase your blood pressure.
Try and have alittle 'me' time only if its for afew days, that should chill you out and bring your bp down.
As for the urine infection, Ann-maries right drink lots of cranberry juice and water to flush the infection out!
Take care and rest!!!!
Good luck with your head of dept! xx

try not to worry emma - they often get things wrong! lots of women get told they are having a small baby or large baby and then exact opposite happens. also, your wee man may have a sudden growth spurt in the next couple of weeks and you may too. i don't think these scans are exactly correct - just a guide.

i am sorry about your blood pressure going up and the urine infections. i have both (well, the urine infection has gone now) and like you feel really down over it. plenty of rest and relaxation is what the doctor orders!

How can you be a failure when you are busy cooking away a lovely baby????! The more you stress yourself out thinking things like that the higher your blood pressure will get!

Just relax and think - not long left now before you will be meeting bubs for real!!!

Awww, Ema you will be fine! I know what it is like to work hard while you are pregnant. Its very difficult, I work in a hospital and I am running around the entire shift Im actually having alot of trouble putting weight on, which is why people only think im like 3 months along.

Just make sure you get lots of rest at home, and that you are eating lots of good carbs to make up for what your burning at work. Drink lots of cranberry juice

And dont worry, im only 5'3 and my SO is only 5'7. There is NO WAY we are having a big baby either!
