| Yes, I'm ordering one of those breast pump/steriliser/bottles kits. I won't get formula unless I need it - hubby can always pop and get some. |

| Im actually only planning on breast feeding for a couple of weeks then will be going onto bottles.
I cant stand hubby touching my boobs now let alone baby feeding off them! but ill give it a try as it is better for babe espicially in the first couple of weeks.
So yes i will be buying bottles, etc- still on my list to buy! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | i am defo going to breast feed.
i was in boots today and bought the 'Tommee Tippee microwave steam and cold water steriliser' (came with 3 bottles and a brush). it cost me £19. i am not sure about formula as i am worried if i have it in the house i will give in and bottle feed the baby but at the same time i don't want to find myself in a desperate situation at 4am in morning! i will speak to my midwife about it.......
i plan to buy the breast pump six weeks into breastfeeding.
Christine

I'm Currently Feeling: | I will be buying bottles etc anyways so that other people (my SO) can feed the baby. Im still not sure if im comfortable with actually breastfeeding either, so I may just use a bottle and express.
If I do breastfeed I wont be doing it for long, a few months.
Ive been getting lots of 5$ coupons for formula tubs anyways, so I may use that too. |

Thanks | Yes!
Breastfeeding has never been a problem for me, but I am going to do things differently this time. Going to try and express so that hubby can bond with the baby and will only be breastfeeding for a few months.
It's always best to have these things on hand. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | i didnt have anything but when i left the hospital bought one bottle and formula only because they asked me to supplement for my baby as his sugar levels were low.
i never did this because my milk came in and i saw he was eating loads.
so ive still got the formula and am thinking of pumping so i guess the bottle will get use one day. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I will, but not before the baby is born. I plan on breastfeeding, and it scares the crap out of me, lol. But I think I can do it
At my prenatal classes, the nurse told me that the hospital sells breast pumps for 1/2 the price of the store and that she recommends waiting to buy one.
She also said that you should not be using bottles for a few weeks at least, as the baby needs a wide open mouth to breastfeed but with a bottle they don't need to suck with an open mouth, and it will make it harder to breastfeed it they are used to sucking on a bottle. |
