Why do I feel like this?

Do you know how you can foresee the future with your baby and when he/she is born and beyond?

With this pregnancy I have not had any sort of visions of the future with my little guy, nor any dreams. With the others, it was different.

I've felt this way all the way through my pregnancy (just didn't want to bring it up in here) and can't help but get a bad feeling because of this.

Does anyone else feel this way?

I do sometimes, I mean I do get the odd dream and picture myself with him, but to me it's because it doesn't really seem like reality. I still can't believe I'm pregnant and I'm 38 weeks gone already!
It could be possible that it just feels like a dream and not reality yet, maybe since (if I'm not mistaken) he was unplanned, therefore you haven't actually had the BOOM moment where you realize;
"Omg.. I'm having [another] baby!"

In first trimester I put it down to shock because he was a surprise. But I've so gotten used to the fact that I will be having another baby, and I am very excited about it.

But I just can't picture holding him, etc. I can't picture a baby in our house with our other two little ones.

I find it rather sad and foreboding in a way.

hun. I'm kinda finding it hard to foresee me and baba without babys daddy when they're born. It was always the three of us in my mind, now I'm finding it really hard.

Nah don't be babes, just need to get used to it, but I am struggling a lot to see me and baby together. It's odd, loads of my friends are expecting and I can see them and their children fine, just struggling I guess? Do you think it's maybe because we're worrying?

Could be hon. I guess in some ways hearing other's experiences too makes me a bit anxious and worried. Perhaps it's just that I will know everything is ok and will relax once I have the baby.

In some ways, I see others with their babies too, even members on here, but me not with mine.

It's a strange, strange feeling.

Well okay, you see my future for me, I'll see yours for you, and then in some warped way we'll both feel better? hehe

I know what you mean. It almost feels like you're not as excited this time round, makes you feel really guilty !! I've figured it's just because you've 'been there, done that' twice already, and know what to expect. So it's more a calm readiness, than an excited madness.... does that make sense. Plus, the amount of things you have going on at the mo, what with the business and everything, you haven't got time Everything is going to be fine. Take this as a sign of confidence in yourself being a great Mum.

I agree with Ann-Marie.
It is probably different when it's your first or second than it is when it's your third, fourth and so on...
Plus, the kids are on summer holiday and you're stressed, work and all. There is so much one super mom can do!

But in no way is it a bad sign! Just wait till you get all your little bundles here with you (plus Dan )!
