Thank God for this place!

I have JUST gotten off the fone with work. I have been trying to contact them for the last week since my GP told me she didn't think I'd be able to return to work before having my lil kicker. I had no luck contacting them at all till today. When someone finally agreed to have someone get back to me!!!!!

So EVENTUALLY someone gets back to me. On top of being completely unsympathetic, he had the cheek to say 'You really should have let us know the moment you found out!' ..... well I bloody tried like.

So finally got to the point of the convo where he was like... well i suppose there's nothing we can do..... you best get me a note from you GP tho!

I'm sorry..... have manners completely gone out the window these days. I was actually physically ill while i was on the fone to him and he couldn't have been more...... corporate!!

*rant over* *BIG DEEP BREATH*

You couldn't get a hold of work for a week? Don't they have someone answering the phone?

Well, if they don't then it's not your bloody fault!

I try to be so positive to anyone and everyone but some people just think the negative all the time. It gets depressing and I end up staying away from these types of people as I do really have my own problems to deal with.

However, it's tough when it's your spouse doing it. When it comes to them, sometimes you just have to grin and bear it no matter how hard it is.

I know honey! I don't understand it either. Yes, we all have problems in life but it's our life and if we walk through it being negative and down, why the hell are we living for? Life is too short!
