| For those of you having a surprise... Do any of you have any thoughts or strong intincts as to what the sex of your baby might be?
I have almost convinced myself (although trying desperately not to) that I'm having a girl. I have to keep telling myself it could be a boy. I would like a girl but either would be absolutely fine - of course at the end of the day all we want is a healthy baby. I am just intrigued as to whether this is my instincts and I'm right or if it's just my head telling me what I want. Hope baby comes soon to satisfy my curiosity!
Anyone had any feelings like this? |

To be honest I think it's all in my head, I can't wait to find out though. I'm sooo impatient these last few weeks are a killer! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I know in my gut it's a girl. With my son I knew as soon as the pg test said positive. But then throughout my pg everyone told me it was a girl, so in my head I started thinking it was a girl...but in my gut, I still knew it was a boy. With this one I had to wait a week before getting that gut feeling. I am so convinced that it is a girl, if they say it's a boy, I'll probably ask them to check again |

I'm Currently Feeling: | i THINK i am having a boy but don't really know (i don't care either way- just want a healthy and happy beanie). it is going to be really exciting the moment the baby pops out getting to know what i have been carrying all these months. i love surprises and that was why i never wanted to know!

| Everyone says boy to me, but i'm carrying like i did with my girl.
I don't have a girls name, and i didnt when i had Rachael as i was sure she was a Joshua!!
I think its a girl.....
but only one way to find out!!
I would like a 4d scan, but then i was thinking it might show what i don't want to know!! I went to the consultant today who booked me in for a scan in 5 weeks, so i guess theres still a chance i'll find out before its time!! | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I had my 4D scan last night & still have no idea, the sonogragher can stay away from that area if you dont want to know.
Right from the start I have thought boy but everyone is telling me that its a girl because of how I'm carrying.... not sure & not bothered either as long as bubba is a healthy one!

| I always thought as soon as I found out I was pregnant my gut feeling just thought boy.
Then everyone that sees bump says I am definitely having a boy because the way I am carrying which is low and out front. Obviously is old wives tale and after speaking to a friend she carried the same way and ended up with one of each so guess you can never tell.
But to be honest the last couple of weeks I am thinking a girl I don't know why is strange isn't it that feeling?? But I always thought I would have two boys and to be honest if I have two boys or two girls I will be over the moon I don't feel like I need to have one of each as long as we are blessed with healthy babies that is the main thing.
It is fun speculating though isn't it?! My nan did the ring test over the belly and it said a girl and then she did it on my mum and it came correct as three girls which she has anyway you either believe it or you don't and I don't!! Also when I had midwife appointment a few weeks ago and she checked pea's heartbeat it was fast which indicates that it is a girl as boys have slower heartbeats...but then my friend was told by her midwife everytime she went ooooh its a girl because of the heartbeat but my friend didn't have the heart to tell her that at her 20 week scan they found out the sex and it was a boy!
sooooo I guess on that note we will all have lovely surprises!!!!!! |
