I'm Currently Feeling:  | Overdue...
Hi as title says i am now overdue -was actually due yesterday.. I feel so fed up as I have had it in my head from the start that I would have him early as my first baby was 6 days early.. Also my MW has been saying for the past two weeks that she thought i would have had him by now! The head has been really low for about 3 weeks now and I keep getting pains and then they just stop..
Anyway will have to have a sweep next week if nothing by then, has anyone had one and do they hurt? do they work?

I feel exactly the same I am due on friday, and because I was measuring bigger and it has been head down since 29 weeks things pointed at the baby coming early and i'm still sat here.
Can't help you with the sweep question as not experienced one, but will be looking at the reponses just in case.

I'm Currently Feeling:  | I had a sweep at 5 days overdue and had my baby the next night so it worked in my case but there's plenty of people on here that it didnt work for. I think it depends on how ready your body is; i was 1-2cm dilated when i had mine and felt no pain or discomfort. I think i had my sweep around 2pm and my contractions were 5 mins apart by 11pm the same night. |

I'm Currently Feeling:  | I was due yesterday too hun, and all iv had are a few aches which have gone a while later. Im booked in for a sweep on fri so i really hope it works, Not long now either way!! |

I'm Currently Feeling:  | i had a 3 sweeps and the last one was in hosptial when i was already in labour to encourage the waters to break which didnt work they broke when then were ready x |

I'm Currently Feeling: | some useless information that might make you feel better lol....
... reading last night that your not TECHINICALLY overdue until you reach 42 weeks as 40 is just an estimate!!!
And in fact if you lived in France they count a pregnancy as 41 weeks!!!
Do hope it happens for you soon though  must be frustrating!!! |
