I am sure you all read my thread (special news!!!) on me and my sister and that she has just found out she is pregnant again after mc.

well she phoned me from turkey last night saying she has had lots of discarge with what look like brown blood in it.

i have heard i few people have this, but i guess i just need you ladies to reasure me before i tell her it is normal.

pleaseeee tell me it is normal...

I've had this and they said that because it was brown it was old blood the more bright and red it is the fresher it is and the more pink the more diluted it is and they monitored me but couldn't tell me what it was so they put it down to a movemetn between the placenta and the womb and that's what had caused it i've actually had it twice but second time it was pink. she best get checked just to be safe as i know they like you to go in with any blood type issues. Hope it goes well i'll keep my fingers crossed for her x x

i had this with my current pregnancy and my last one. Everything is doing good with me and my little 2 1/2 yr old boy. Mine usually was around where my period would have been.

Yeah I had this around the time of when my next period was due, again the doctor said it was the body geting rid of anything from my last period x

thnaks girls, as she is in turkey,(coming home on monday) she doesnt want to see a doctor, because they were'nt very good with her last time, i am gona phone midwife now and ask them for an appointment on tuesday for her.

by the way my sister is about 6-7 weeks,

Brown blood should be normal because it's the old blood...

Brown blood is alright, it's the bright red blood that you need to be worried about.
