I'm Currently Feeling:  | When do the Stretchmarks come?
Well i'm almost 31wks now, and no sign of a stretchmark yet. I've heard that they come late in pregnancy, but how late? When should I expect to wake up and find my tummy riddled with them? I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I don't get them through my tattoo- I have one on my right hip, but it's right over to the side and quite low. |

I'm Currently Feeling:  | It depends on the person. You might not get any at all.
Some people get them in first tri, some don't get them at all. One of my friends didn't get one until the day before she was induced. If she had went on her due date she wouldn't have gotten any at all.
I started getting them at 16 weeks but I'm genetically pre-dispositioned to them unfortunately. |

I don't have any, because I wasn't expecting any.
From day one I never scratched no matter how the area itch, and I always used Palmers coco butter.

I'm Currently Feeling:  | Does your mum have stretch marks?
I first started noticing mine around week 30, they were VERY faint and all under my bump (I had to take a mirror to look at them) and they weren't much more than a couple tiny silver lines. Needless to say, those silver lines turned into red blotchy marks about 2 weeks later! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | No, my mum didn't get any. I heard it's in your genetics as well; however im not entirely counting on that as my mum was a big lady before she fell pregnant and lost the weight, so her body was used to being stretched. I, on the other hand, have always been slim and my body has never had to be stretched before. |

I'm Currently Feeling:  | i have only a couple on the top of my thighs but none on my bump at all and i have a pretty big bump! i guess there is still time but so far i am happy with the stretchmark situation!

I'm Currently Feeling:  | You might be lucky and get away with it. I religously cream my stomach every night and havenīt got any yet - my mum didnīt have any either, so am keeping my fingers crossed. I don't have any yet either but just like you,my skin isn't used to being streched at all(although I don't know if it has something to do with it).
I use bio oil daily...just hoping they will stay away! |
