Movement

Just wondered if anybody else has felt like this, On sat movement of baby really slowed down, prior to this she had been kicking like nobody's business. I tried not to panic and I had felt her by lunch time (she def had 10 movements during the day). She is still not kicking like she was before though.

I had a MW appointment yesterday and my blood pressure is fine, clear urine sample, all my blood tests have come back clear (iron, diabetes, liver, etc) and I heard her heartbeat (although it took a while to find) and MW said it was perfect.

My MW says she may have turned round so her back is facing my front? I have felt her moving today, in fact she has moved frequently but they are really small fluttery movements, not the great big kicks I was getting. I am 32 weeks now, has anybody else had this?

Defo honey!

About once every couple of weeks my lady turns her back to my tummy and the kicks turn into little fluttery movements for a couple of days then suddenly a big bottom sticks out and shes back the other way!

Still happens occasionally for me at this stage and is apparently totally normal - you get used to your baby movements - remember you know bubs better than anyone else so trust your instincts xx xx

Hi I am 32+1 weeks and I have noticed the same thing about the movements
I seen MW and doc last week and everything is fine so I guess its just less room to move as long as you are feeling movement every day then I would say all is ok, but as always if in any doubt get checked out

Yes me too!

My baby was going bonkers until a couple of weeks ago - full on tummy shaking. But recently although he moves just as often his movements tend to be smaller. I think it's the frequency of movements that is important and I'm thinking that the size of movements is bound to change as Baby gets more cramped.

Hopefully this is all normal hun

You're smack bang at the time when babe gets too big to flip around anymore, so you should expect movements to be a bit less obvious. It'll be more squirmy, pressure, feelings that you have now, as opposed to full on wallops
If the midwife is happy, then I'd go with that... although, if you do stop feeling even the squirms, go straight in to see the midwife again.

Yup, I've noticed this too! In fact on Sat my LO really didn't move much at all so I got worried and called the doctor and had to go to the hospital and get monitored. But everything was fine and dandy and she kicked on the way home and when I was trying to sleep. So I wouldn't worry too much, but if you think your LO hasn't moved enough then definitely call in and get it checked, you know your baby better then anyone, and better safe then sorry, they would much rather you go in and everything be fine then you not go in and they're end up being a problem.
