I've gotten 3 confirmations that my baby is a girl..

On my 20 weeks scan, the lady told me "It looks like a girl".
I told that lady, that is not a confirmation/answer and she gave me a direct answer.

On my next visit, which was my Level 2 sono, I asked again. They said "It's a girl" and showed her body parts to me.

The last sono, is when I went for my 4D Scan and saw her pictures, they also said "It's a girl".

I had to keep asking all those sonogram-ist, because they ask like they don't want to tell you anything.

My mom is a sonographer and she told me that they're actually told not to give 100% confirmations for this exact reason. Especially for girls because sometimes the dangly bits can be tucked under or flat on the stomach. I certainly wouldn't feel any different towards my baby if she turned out to be a he but I would feel a little bad for him because he would be wearing pink for a little while. Kinda wish I had of kept the tags on the clothing now...

When was your last scan, Mello? At 32 weeks my little boy was a definitely little boy with unmistakable little boy bits! I think they're pretty hot on it now a days and the fact that you've had 3 that've all said girl makes me think it probably is. At the end of the day, I think although I'd be annoyed about all the money and stuff spent on boy things, I'd just be so overwhelmed that I'd had an actual baby that I wouldn't care too much!

As long as the baby was healthy etc , id be happy with that ! I wouldnt be upset as such but I think any mother or the couple would be really shocked considering they bought clothes according to the gender they thought it'd be. Itd be a funny experience, but i dont think theres a point in being upset at the sonographer etc, they are just human.
