Hard to believe, but yes, it was the first time I've been to Mothercare in my whole pregnancy

I haven't needed to buy anything, so I've not had any reason before now. But I spotted some really nice Swaddling blankets, ( magic blanket, I think ), on their website, so decided to pop in and buy 2 as the 'hospital bag blankets'. Only to discover that they don't sell them in store yet

But I ended up buying a really gorgeous pink blanket, that's knitted one side, and fleece the other... it's sooo snuggly

they sound lovely! I have been avoiding it too, i went in once to have a shot of my pram but I am going in on Saturday to have a wee look!

But I do like the idea of the swaddle blankets and may invest in some myself

I hear you mention it several times here? I feel like it's a unicorn of baby shops!

oh i love mothercare. i went in about a week ago to see if they had their maternity knickers cos they are sooooo comfy but they didn't have any cos their sale is on. so instead i bought half the shop instead they had 50% off their clothes so i got loads of stuff cos i had nothing for LO to wear so i was delighted to get all the stuff at half price

Guess what!? Really exciting news for us here in Beijing. Our first Mothercare just opened on Friday!!! I'm just about to head out and go have a look....all the pregnant foreigners I've met in the past weeks have been counting the days and finally it's here. Woooo!

i've been to mothercare a couple of times but only bought maternity bras and a 2 pairs of trousers. i haven't bought anything for beanie! i find them rather expensive and end up buying what i need from elsewhere........they do have gorgeous baby things though!

Boo, the new Mothercare here in Beijing was quite small... Did end up buying some cute clothes, but was hoping to have more of a range of other stuff, too... Oh well, back to the Chinese stores!

I went to mothercare to cheer myself up with baby showing no signs of arriving soon, and bought some gorgeous little outfits (not that i needed more!) they were in the sale, couldn't resist!
