I am 31 weeks pregnant and waiting on seeing a specialist. My bubba has an enlarged kidney and is blocked up with urine, so there is the possibility of surgery when it is born. To add to that I just found out I have gestational diabetes and that I am carrying too much amniotic fluid, which posses the risk of preterm labour and other complications. I am feeling really alone and scared because i do not know what to expect and what will happen. I want everything to go well with this baby, it is my 5th, and have not had any troubles with other births. I just wish they would tell me everything will work out well. Im sure that everything will work out fine and have faith in your hospital because im sure they will do everything they can to make sure you lo is fine.

| Sorry i have no advice for you but wanted to say im sure evrything willl be fine.
Even if your baby did have to have surgery when he/she was born they are very advance nowadays with equipment so im sure things will go well.
My step sister gave birth and her son had to have 2 heart operations within the first 2 weeks of his life. He is now almost 10 and doing fantasticly!
