yesterday i had dull pains in my back that spread to my stomach which just presumed was BH i had these pains all day which got worse i had nothing else no show or anything around 8 last night i timed them they was ever 7/8 mins i decided to have a bath and get some sleep it was midnight when i took some paracetamol and finally fell asleep woke up at 4 and they had eased off so must have been BH
problem is now i dont think i will know the difference as i have had 3 kids b4 but NEVER BH my labours always start with period pains and backache so flapping now... my sis is goin to look after my kiddies when it does happen, my OH and mum will be with me so i dont just want to drag my sis here and drag other ppl out of bed or work if its not the real deal i also feel so stupid as its my 4th.

Anyone else feel the same??

Cant give you any advice as this is my first and I'm a bit worried too. I have not felt any BH yet and am worried I will think its the real thing when I do get some. Not sure what the solution is but at least you're not the only one who feels like this - I'm sure there are lots of other ladies like us lurking around here

Only kidding, seriously tho sweetheart.. with your other babies, did you get 'proper' contractions at all or was it just pains?

And i'm sure your mum and sis won't mind getting out of bed, even if it is a false alarm, they will want to help and be there for you. Thats all that matters.

i just had period pains with the others its only right at the end i get bad pains but as i have never had BH im getting them mixed up with the real thing with the others i had no pains during pregnancy so knew it was happening but i keep getting bad BH
And i know it sounds stupid as its my 3rd but each baby and pregnancy is different

I am there with you hun, this is my 3rd but the BH are MUCH different than before and feel more like labor starting. I have the same worries as you I dont want to put anyone out watching the girls, but with my labor being so fast last time i want to make sure i make it to the hospital in enough time as well. I keep telling myself I will know when it is time......here is hoping i am right and the same is true for you.

i have really fast labours too...and when you ask ppl they think your stupid cos its your 3rd or 4th but i find it well harder with this little bundle
