| It can possibly be a sign of early labour - but it's just because of all the pressure in the area. But I believe labour can still be a few days away after this happens - I had it too!
All the best!

I'm Currently Feeling: | It can be a sign of labor but it might not be. I had this last Friday, could barely sit down because of the pain, found that having my DH rub my back with an ice pack really helped. Hope you are feeling better by now |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I know how you feel!! I had the same thing. Actually I was in early labour for three weeks, and I had awful lower back cramps, and irregular contractions for three weeks. Doctor thought she was coming early at 38 weeks but I did not have her until I was 1 day short of 41 weeks pregnant!! Hopefully yours does not stick around as long!! |

| All of my labour pains were in my back. I did not have any pain in my abdominal area at all. It was in the lower + middle back and it was very painful but came in 'batches'.. (so pain and then no pain) It wasn't regular either.. I didn't go into hospital because I thought I was in labour, I did it because I was in too much pain..
It may or may not be labour for you though.. keep an eye on it, and if it gets too painful, then head off to get it checked out. | | | | Status: Offline
